About me
I lead applied research in cell physiology and cellular engineering with a strong focus on developing human-relevant in vitro model systems for industry. My work centers on building advanced, iPSC-based and 3D tissue models, including blood–brain barrier and skin platforms, designed to improve the predictivity of efficacy and safety testing. By integrating functional and stress-response readouts, I develop assays that better capture human biology and enable earlier, more reliable decision-making in drug, biotech, and cosmetic development. I specialize in translating complex cell models into robust, industry-compatible platforms and enjoy working closely with industrial partners to bridge cutting-edge biology with real-world application.
