Prof.Dr.Gursel Turgut graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine

in 1992. He worked as Football Team Doctor for Galatasaray Sports Club between Dec. 1992 –

1994. He resigned from his short-term assistant position in Sports Medicine and completed

his Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialization in 2000, which he started in 1994. ,He received the

title of Associate Professor in the same branch in 2010 and the title of professor in 2015.

He was in Cologne-Germany in 1998 and he was in Hamburg for educational purposes

at the Berufgenossenchaftliches Unfallkrankenhaus Handchirurgie in 1999. He performed

orthognathic surgery, free flap and emergency facial trauma surgeries at the Department of

Maxillofacial Surgery clinic in Brugge-Belgium in 2003, where he was a surgeon and He

improved his experience about Orthognatic Surgery. He worked as visiting fellow in New York

University Faculty of Medicine Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, UNC College of

Dentistry Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in North Carolina and Mount Sinai School of

Medicine Division of Maxillofacial Surgery centers in NY to improve his experience in 2005.

Dr.Turgut worked as director for the Aesthetic Surgery department of Istanbul

Surgery and Liv-Ulus hospital. He is currently performing his operations in Esteworld VIP Clinic

as director.

Prof. Dr. Turgut is continuing his researches and treatments in the fields of

regenerative medicine and stem cells since 2005. Furthermore He is first researcher who uses

stem cells for treatment of diabetic foot wounds for Turkiye and all around world in 2005.

Dr.Turgut has developed his own patented Stem Cell separation device, Blood and Blood

Products Separation Device and Apheresis Devices in 2010. Genkord Biotechnology company,

which was selected to BORSA Istanbul as one of the top 5 companies conducting the

academic researches in Turkey in 2015 . Dr.Turgut conducted one of the widest clinical

studies on stem cell treatments of Covid 19 patients with and Kanuni Training and Research

Hospital in 2020. He developed a decontamination device from virus/bacteria and fungus

with Fark Holding and Cadem companies.

Dr.Turgut is the first academician to make custom implants and prostheses and

epitheses who uses reverse engineering technology for manufacturing. He has the widest

clinical case series and publications in the world in making body parts. Prof.Dr.Turgut has his

own techniques in Face Lifting, Nose Aesthetics, Breast Reduction, Ankle aesthetics and

Microsurgical surgeries. He just became Faculty Member, Deep Tech Hub of Boğaziçi

University Center for Targeted Therapy Technologies - CT3 at the end of march 2025

He continues his regenerative medicine and stem cell studies in Genkord Stem Cell Center

and esthetic surgeries in private hospital in Nişantaşı-Etiler in Istanbul.
