About me

Simon Michel, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Ypsomed Group. With Ypsomed since October 2006. From 2003 to 2006 at Orange Communications AG. Simon Michel studied economics at the University of St. Gallen and graduated with a Master’s in media and communications management. He is a board member at Forster Rohner AG and LEM Surgical AG as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors at DCB Research AG and Ahueni AG. Simon Michel is on the board committee of economiesuisse and on the boards of the Canton of Berne Trade and Industry Association, the Solothurn Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Medtech, the umbrella organization for Swiss medical technology. He is a member of the Military Strategy Staff, with the rank of Major. Simon Michel was elected to the National Council for the FDP of the Canton of Solothurn in October 2023. He is a member of its Foreign Affairs Committee and president of Progresuisse.
