Miraikan Agro is a biotechnology company based in Türkiye, focused on the controlled and sustainable production of freshwater microalgae using proprietary automation-supported systems. Our main application areas include functional foods, biofertilizers, and environmentally beneficial technologies such as CO₂ capture and air purification. We continuously improve our cultivation systems to reduce capital and operational costs, enabling scalable production for diverse biotechnological applications. We collaborate with partners on product development for functional foods and are actively involved in research that supports the market acceptance of algae-based ingredients – including sensory analysis and consumer validation processes. Our goal is to expand the impact of microalgae in sustainable, value-added sectors, and we are seeking EU project collaborations where we can contribute across the full chain – from cultivation to application.
After graduating from Ege University, Department of Biology, I completed my master's degree in Fisheries Engineering at Ege University. During my master's degree, I took part in the Tübitak project as a scholarship student and ı have carried out academic publications in different fields.
I have certificates for ISO9001 quality management systems, GMP, and GLP training. I am also taking Functional Nutrition and Supplementology training.
I have professional work competence in the isolation, purification, and production of microalgae, designing production systems, harvesting, drying, ensuring optimum growth conditions, and obtaining biomass as a final product at sustainable quality standards.
