About me
I am a scientific associate at HEIA-Fribourg, working at the intersection of applied artificial intelligence, robotics, and data-driven systems, with a strong focus on translating research into clinically and industrially deployable solutions. My core expertise and current collaboration interests include assistive robotics and wearable systems, neuro-rehabilitation and orthopedics, data-driven surgical and intervention planning, human-robot interaction, and AI-enabled perception, control, and learning for robotic systems operating in close proximity to humans. I am particularly engaged in projects that combine biomechanical modeling, machine learning, and sensor-based feedback to improve functional outcomes in rehabilitation and orthopedic applications, as well as in robotics platforms that must meet safety, usability, and regulatory constraints.
