About

Project Overview

BaseloadPV is a next-generation stationary energy storage architecture designed specifically for seasonal and low-cycle applications in renewable energy systems.

Unlike conventional high-cycle battery systems optimized for mobility, our approach targets:

  • Long-duration and seasonal storage

  • Low cycle frequency with high material stability

  • Structural system integration

  • Simplified architecture for stationary deployment

  • Direct coupling with photovoltaic generation

The concept focuses on combining structural energy storage components with advanced nano- and microstructured electrode materials suitable for chemistries such as LFP, sodium-based, potassium-based, and gel-type systems.

The objective is to enable scalable, robust, and economically viable baseload renewable energy solutions.

The project is currently in the pre-development and consortium-building stage.

We are seeking partners in the following areas:

1. Advanced Carbon & High-Temperature Material Processing

  • Methane pyrolysis research groups

  • Controlled carbon material synthesis

  • Industrial gas handling and process engineering

  • High-temperature reactor systems

2. Industrial Microwave & Thermal Process Systems

  • Large-scale microwave heating technologies

  • Electrified high-temperature processing

  • Reactor engineering

3. Battery & Electrochemistry Specialists

  • Solid-state battery systems

  • Gel-based lithium systems

  • Sodium-ion and potassium-ion chemistries

  • Electrode nano-/microstructuring

  • Stationary battery optimization

4. Photovoltaic System & Structural Integration Experts

  • Direct PV-to-storage architectures

  • Structural integration concepts

  • Building-integrated or infrastructure-integrated PV

  • System-level power electronics optimization

Collaboration Scope

We are open to:

  • Joint R&D proposals (EU and national funding schemes)

  • Technology validation partnerships

  • Material and prototype co-development

  • Industrial pilot projects

  • Strategic long-term collaboration

The goal is to establish a cross-disciplinary consortium capable of developing and validating a first demonstrator system within a structured development roadmap.
