Industrial & Research Partners for Seasonal Low-Cycle Battery Storage Integrated with Photovoltaics
About
Project Overview
BaseloadPV is a next-generation stationary energy storage architecture designed specifically for seasonal and low-cycle applications in renewable energy systems.
Unlike conventional high-cycle battery systems optimized for mobility, our approach targets:
-
Long-duration and seasonal storage
-
Low cycle frequency with high material stability
-
Structural system integration
-
Simplified architecture for stationary deployment
-
Direct coupling with photovoltaic generation
The concept focuses on combining structural energy storage components with advanced nano- and microstructured electrode materials suitable for chemistries such as LFP, sodium-based, potassium-based, and gel-type systems.
The objective is to enable scalable, robust, and economically viable baseload renewable energy solutions.
The project is currently in the pre-development and consortium-building stage.
