Call for Strategic Partners – Consortium Building for the BICO Project (EIT Urban Mobility Strategic Innovation)
About
BICO is designed to combine a next-generation digital cycling platform with Living Mobility Labs, implemented through real-world city pilots, behavioural innovation and community activation across Europe.
As part of the consortium-building and co-creation phase, we are now inviting additional strategic partners to join the project preparation and shape its final scope, pilots and implementation model.
We are looking for:
Cities & metropolitan authorities
interested in becoming Pilot or Strategic Living Mobility Lab Cities, contributing to testing data-driven cycling adoption, citizen engagement and city dashboards.
Mobility Labs, Living Labs & innovation organisations
with expertise in behavioural innovation, co-creation, citizen engagement, impact measurement or urban experimentation.
Industry & lifestyle partners (cycling, mobility, outdoor, health)
who want to go beyond sponsorship and act as strategic partners in a scalable, city-integrated European platform (e.g. pilots, co-development, ESG & health impact, data-driven insights).
Why engage at this stage?
-
Opportunity to co-shape the project concept and pilots
-
Strong alignment with EIT Urban Mobility priorities
-
European visibility and replication potential
-
Licence-ready Living Mobility Lab model for cities
-
Clear commercialisation and scale-up logic
-
Not a campaign – a long-term platform
The planned project integrates:
-
AI-supported cycling routing & 3D visualisation
-
City dashboards with aggregated, GDPR-compliant data
-
Behavioural innovation & citizen activation
-
A Europe-wide Living Mobility Lab framework
