Baltic Institute of Technology (BIT) — a versatile organization, focusing on both training adults and carrying out scientific activity.  

BIT is a successfully growing adult technology school, offering in-depth courses in different technology areas to upskill adults to meet the demands of the dynamic future job market. Our teachers are academic professionals able to provide course participants with practical skills for positive and bold career changes.

In scientific activities, BIT focuses on conducting research in artificial intelligence (AI), natural language processing (NLP), optical character recognition (OCR), and data analytics. BIT has many years of experience in developing advanced solutions to strengthen business and technology interactions.  

BIT also actively contributes to innovations in the field of education, and, together with partners, participates in various EU-funded and co-funded projects in the fields of adult and vocational training, edTech innovations, and RIA in AI and Machine Learning. 

BIT actively carries out research and innovation activities. Main focus areas include: 

  • AI & Robotics for Workforce Development: developing AI-driven mentoring and upskilling platforms for IT and non-IT sectors, integrating adaptive learning and intelligent workforce tracking. 

  • Automation & Business Process Optimization: advancing AI-powered efficiency tools for SMEs, RPA solutions, and intelligent workflow automation for diverse industries. 

  • Cybersecurity & Digital Safety: leveraging AI for cyber threat intelligence and automated risk assessment to enhance digital security. 

  • Managerial Robotics & Visual AI, VLM: developing AI-integrated robotics education program and providing visual automation solutions to improve operational efficiency in manufacturing, logistics, and education.
