Dr. Faruk SARI was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1968. He obtained his B.Sc. in 1989 and M.Sc. in 1991 from Yıldız Technical University. In 2002, he earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. As part of his doctoral studies, he conducted research at Virginia Tech and the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. In addition to his engineering background, he later pursued an Associate Degree in Theology and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Anadolu University.
Dr. Sarı began his academic career as a Research Assistant in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and later in the Department of Computer Engineering. His work in the defense industry includes roles such as Researcher at the ITU Defense Research Center, Specialist Researcher in the Naval Research Center’s Electronic Warfare Department, Specialist Researcher at STM, and Specialist Researcher at TÜBİTAK Informatics Institute.
In 2005, he co-founded CTech Bilişim, a company specializing in cybersecurity, defense, and high technology solutions. He served as the Deputy General Manager and a Member of the Board of Directors, contributing significantly to the company’s strategic growth.
Currently, Dr. Sarı is the co-founder of Cyber Quanta, focusing on Post-Quantum Cryptography-based Data and IoT Security solutions.
