GECCO operates at the intersection of edge computing & AI, dual-use tech, and cleantech. The edge computing space involves deploying computing to serve business needs in such locations as retail, manufacturing, healthcare, transport & logistics, power & utilities, renewables, space, telco/5G, maritime & defense, and more. To this end, GECCO develops an edge computing platform, called the EdgePod™, that comprises edge servers, AI GPUs, storage, networking, security, power & cooling components in one turnkey "edge-cloud in a box". What makes GECCO unique is that our compute technology is 90% smaller and lighter than conventional IT equipment (and uses 90% less “stuff” that requires energy & resources to manufacture and eventually recycle), uses 75% less power, generates 75% less heat (and uses no fans or moving parts), is rugged to military standards to survive harsh conditions in many edge environments, and has an 80% overall lower eco/GHG footprint than convention server/IT technology.
