Organisation
Post AI Systems is a Berlin-based AI and EU innovation practice led by Joe Mac. We work with organisations developing technologies and services in high-accountability environments, including AI, cybersecurity, civil security, resilience, public-sector innovation, civic technology, secure systems, critical infrastructure and strategic digital capabilities.
Our focus is not generic AI consulting. We help companies and organisations understand how their technology can be positioned in the European funding landscape, including Horizon Europe, Cluster 3 Civil Security, Cluster 4 Digital/Industry/Space, Digital Europe, EIC, ECCC cybersecurity opportunities, CEF Digital, and defence/dual-use-related routes where relevant.
The typical first step is an EU Funding Pathway & Technology Positioning Note: a short, structured assessment that maps your capability to relevant programmes and opportunity corridors, identifies readiness gaps, clarifies whether you should lead, partner, monitor or avoid specific calls, and develops 2–3 fundable project angles for further discussion.
Post AI Systems combines 15+ years of European Commission programme delivery experience with EU proposal architecture, consortium logic, governed AI workflow design and civic/public-sector innovation expertise. The aim is to help serious technology teams avoid unfocused proposal spending and move toward credible, fundable, evaluator-aligned project concepts.
