Stealth Company is a Rome-based deep tech startup developing Matecasting, a patent-pending technology designed to address one of the most costly unsolved problems in the digital media industry: video streaming piracy.

The Problem

Streaming piracy costs the industry an estimated $75 billion every year. Live sports are hit the hardest, with broadcasters losing $28.3 billion annually and often having less than 30 minutes to detect and stop an illegal stream. Existing solutions, especially legacy watermarking technologies, have proven inefficient and are routinely bypassed by pirates.

What We Do

Matecasting makes every stream delivered to each viewer uniquely identifiable, without relying on legacy watermarking technologies. Each spectator receives a uniquely traceable version of the same content, enabling the source of a leak to be identified in real time. The solution integrates with existing infrastructure, preserves quality, and requires no additional bandwidth.

Technology & IP

The technology is patent pending and protected by an international PCT filing (PCT/IB2025/051755), providing the foundation to pursue patent protection in more than 150 countries. It is built on a scientific foundation cited by leading technology and media companies including Apple, Google, Disney, Cisco, NVIDIA, and Sony.

The Opportunity

The market for anti-piracy solutions is projected to reach $3.8 billion by 2033, yet no current competitor solves this problem in the same way. Matecasting is designed for high-margin licensing, with gross margins expected to exceed 90%.
