Building a company from an initial idea to a successful IPO or exit is a long-term journey that requires more than a great product. Drawing on East Ventures’ experience supporting founders from early stage to growth stage, including the journey of its portfolio company Fore Coffee through its IPO, this session will explore the key decisions and challenges involved in building companies for long-term value.

Yinwei Liang, Partner at East Ventures, will share insights on how to validate an idea and find product-market fit, build the right team, develop a scalable business model, raise capital, navigate growth, and prepare for institutional milestones such as an IPO or strategic exit.
