Pilot partner wanted: 3D vision AI defect check for production lines

Some defects are hard to catch on a flat camera image: shallow dents, warp, parts out of height, scratches that only show at an angle. ARNEB, our inspection system, reads each part in 3D, depth and color together, and flags anything that does not match a good part.

Where it stands:

- Prototype built, with a depth model, a check on each flat face and a color model, plus an operator screen in English and Japanese.

- It learns from good parts only, so you do not need a library of defect samples to start.

- It runs on a PC in your plant with no cloud connection. The vision model inside can be swapped for a newer open model as they are released.

- Results so far come from simulation. The pilot measures detection and false-alarm rates on your real parts.

Your operator makes the final call on every flagged part, and ARNEB keeps the inspection record for each one. We are looking for a manufacturer in Southeast Asia with a visual or height check that is done by hand today, and willing to pilot on one station. We would like to hear which defects cost you the most.
