About
We operate where resilience matters most: energy security and autonomous systems.
My name is Peter Gerding, CEO of 1G Energie and 1G Ukraine. At 1G, we operate across Ukraine in two areas that have become essential to the country’s resilience: critical energy infrastructure and autonomous systems.
Our engagement in Ukraine began with critical energy infrastructure. Together with 2G, we have installed and commissioned a significant and strategically relevant number of decentralized CHP units across the country, providing reliable electricity and heat where they are needed most.
Today, our teams operate across Ukraine and directly on the ground. We have implemented and supported projects in Kharkiv, Pavlohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Odesa and Kremenchuk, among many other locations.
During the past winter in particular, we supported critical energy infrastructure under wartime conditions. This has given us extensive practical experience in establishing, operating and maintaining decentralized, reliable and resilient energy supply under extremely challenging circumstances.
But our work does not stop with energy.
Building on the same hands-on and operational mindset, 1G has expanded into autonomous systems. In cooperation with 1st Corps Azov, we have established an operational production capability in Ukraine, with our systems already deployed and in operational use.
Our development philosophy is straightforward:
Reality is our teacher.
Our systems are Donbas-proven. Our development remains closely connected to the rapidly changing realities of the battlefield, with operational experience and direct feedback continuously flowing back into our engineering and production processes.
Through this continuous cycle of development, deployment, operational feedback and improvement, we have already progressed through five generations of drone systems.
For us, technology is not defined by how well it performs on paper. What matters is functionality, reliability and adaptability under real operational conditions. Every new generation is shaped by what we learn from actual deployment.
Today, 1G operates in two key areas of Ukraine’s resilience: secure decentralized electricity and heat supply, and the development and production of autonomous systems.
We are now looking for strong Ukrainian, German and international partners to scale our production capabilities, expand our technological expertise, exchange know-how and jointly develop the next generation of solutions.
At 1G, we combine German engineering expertise, Ukrainian innovation and real operational experience.
Developed in Ukraine.
Produced in Ukraine.
Proven under real conditions.
Continuously improved where it matters most.
