Draco Aircraft is a startup based in Warsaw, founded at the end of 2023. The company is developing the unique Draco platform capable of further evolution in various variants.

In September 2024, we signed an agreement with Airbus whereby Draco Aircraft will acquire all intellectual property rights, type certification, and necessary production equipment for all PZL Wilga aircraft models – an icon of the Polish aviation industry. With over 1,000 units sold, it stands as one of the best-selling aircraft in the 100-year history of today's Airbus Poland, proven across diverse conditions and applications. Together with our U.S. partners, we will transform the Wilga into a new, fully certified STOL aircraft called "Draco," capable of ultra-short takeoff and landing on any surface type, requiring only 80 feet for takeoff and 120 feet for landing.

Our competitive advantage lies in the Draco prototype, built by our partner Mike Patey, which has demonstrated exceptional HyperSTOL properties and garnered significant recognition within the U.S. aviation community.

The civilian version of Draco will serve as a premium offering for private pilots seeking unique STOL performance combined with a proven and safe transportation platform, featuring a spacious cabin for up to 3 passengers.

Draco also represents an innovative light combat support aircraft capable of conducting strike, close-air support missions in austere environments, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions - specifically designed for special operations to "do more with less," offering a cost-effective alternative to larger aircraft or helicopters.
