About
The heating plan is a strategic planning tool that shows municipalities how they can establish a comprehensive, climate-friendly heating supply by a specific target year. As part of the heating plan, current heating requirements are determined and a CO2 balance is drawn up. In addition, the potential for heating with renewable energies is determined in order to derive a target scenario. The target scenario outlines where district heating will have to provide the heat supply in the future and where residents may have to supply themselves, e.g., with heat pumps. The heating plan formulates recommendations for action and measures to implement the plan by the target year.
