(Ultra) Wide bandgap semiconductor substrate production and material growth tooling for next generation applications

Space Forge is developing and scaling manufacturing capacity for semiconductor substrate production. Our aim is to produce ultra high quality (low defectivity, high purity) materials with an initial focus on diamond, with a view to expanding to compound semiconductors. To do this we have manufacturing facilities in the UK. Additionally we are developing our own material growth tools that are ultimately destined for operating on a satellite within the microgravity environment of space; there has been over 50 years of semiconductor growth experiments in space that highlight significant benefits to and advantages of semiconductor crystal growth over those grown terrestrially.
