Development of Recyclable Power Electronics Modules

A half bridge power electronics module which is fully recyclable by solvolysis has been produced and tested to TRL4. A similar approach can be used to manufacture multi-chip modules to meet the needs of the circular economy. This is on the roadmaps of aerospace and other sectors and so partners are sought to participate in a collaboration, as end users, or other parts of the value chain. Swiss-UK or Horizon Europe funding will be sought.
