The National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (ISKPI) is a leading technical university in Ukraine, with an enrollment of over 20,000 students and a research community of over 2,500 academic staff members.

Over the course of its existence, it has trained 370,000 specialists, including 60,000 during the period of Ukrainian independence.

ISKPI ranks among the top 4% of the best universities in the world according to international rankings such as QS and Webometrics. It consistently holds top positions among the best higher educational institutions in Ukraine.

According to Google Corporation, it has been the most popular higher educational institution in Ukraine in recent years.

The university has 14 faculties, 11 educational and scientific institutes, several research institutes, and educational centers. It offers training programs at the Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, and Doctor of Science levels. The university also has its own publishing house “Polytechnika”.

ISKPI is the principal organization of the National Information Network of Higher Educational Establishments and Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences URAN, which is integrated with the European educational network GEANT. The university has been the initiator of the “Center for Supercomputer Calculations and Data” in Ukraine.

New developments of ISKPI have been awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology. The Scientific Park “Kyiv Polytechnic” plays a significant role in the commercialization of the university’s scientific research results and technical developments.

ISKPI cooperates with technical universities in numerous countries around the world, as well as with many international organizations (UNESCO, UNIDO, WIPO, NATO, EDNES, ICSU, CODATA, etc.) and leading global corporations (SIEMENS, FESTO, SAMSUNG, INTEL, etc.). It actively participates in international educational and scientific projects and programs.
