Michael Brönner

Michael Brönner leads Mastercard’s operations in Austria as Country Manager, a position he has held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Brönner was responsible for Business Development in the Data & Services sector for Mastercard in Austria and several other European markets. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he developed his expertise in the financial sector, focusing on strategy, sales, and digitalization. He then served as Head of Corporate Development & Head of Investments and Strategic Partnerships at AXA Germany, where he was responsible for key strategy and innovation issues. Michael Brönner has been with Mastercard since 2019.
