Zero-Waste & Circular Design Expertise for European R&I Projects

Creatomdie offers expertise in zero-waste and circular design, combining creative methodologies, sustainability and practical experimentation to support European research and innovation projects.

Our expertise originates in zero-waste fashion and design, but our approach is conceived to be transferable to other sectors, materials and value chains where waste prevention, resource efficiency and circularity are key challenges.

We can contribute to European R&I projects through:

• Zero-waste and circular design methodologies, exploring how design decisions can prevent waste from the outset rather than addressing it only at the end of the process.

• Cross-sector application of zero-waste principles, adapting creative and design-led methodologies to new materials, products, services and contexts.

• Pilot design and implementation, particularly pilots combining sustainability with art, design, culture, education, citizen participation or creative experimentation.

• Co-creation and participatory methodologies, engaging users, communities and stakeholders in testing and developing circular solutions.

• Creative communication and dissemination, translating research and technical results into accessible visual, participatory and cultural formats.

We bring previous experience in European collaborative projects, including the leadership of four European projects, and are now interested in joining new consortia as a project partner.

We are particularly interested in collaborating with universities, research centres, companies, technology providers, municipalities and other organisations working on circular economy, resource efficiency, sustainable materials and manufacturing, waste prevention, textiles, sustainable cities, creative industries, New European Bauhaus and related green-transition challenges.

We are open to contributing to Horizon Europe and other European R&I initiatives, either through specific tasks, pilot activities or Work Packages where our expertise can complement scientific, technological and industrial partners.
