About
Metropolitan College is one of the leading higher education institutions in Greece and the largest UK Transnational Education provider in the country, offering programmes aligned with EQF levels 6–8. Since 1982, it has developed a strong academic presence through its cooperation with distinguished UK universities and its wide portfolio of Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes.
The College operates across 8 locations in Greece and includes more than 12 academic faculties, including Health Sciences, Computing, Psychology, Business and Economics, Education and Human Sciences, and Architecture, Engineering and the Built Environment. This multidisciplinary structure allows Metropolitan College to contribute to projects that connect health, digital innovation, education, skills development, and applied research.
In the context of From Ideas to Impact: Emerging Health Technologies in Action, Metropolitan College is interested in exploring partnerships under Horizon Europe, the EU Mission on Cancer, IHI, EIT Health-related initiatives, and other collaborative frameworks. The College can contribute through research and surveys, training needs analysis, curriculum design, capacity building, pilots with students and professionals, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement.
Metropolitan College is particularly open to cooperation in areas such as AI in healthcare, digital health skills, health innovation education, patient-centred training, cancer-related awareness and capacity building, and the translation of research results into practical learning and professional development pathways.
