Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies is a public R&D institute based in Radom, Poland, and part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, one of the largest research networks in Europe. The Institute develops applied research and innovation solutions for industry, public institutions and the economy, combining technological expertise with competence development, vocational education and innovation management.
Its activity is organised around specialised centres, including the Surface Engineering Centre, Mechatronics and Prototyping Centre, Tribology Centre, Bioeconomy and Ecoinnovation Centre, and the Centre for Vocational Education Research and Innovation Management. The Institute’s mission is to support partners in developing, testing and implementing practical, scalable and sustainable solutions that respond to technological, environmental, organisational and labour-market challenges.
