Investigation of S-cones stimulation by two-photon absorption in visual pigment
Research Manager at International Centre for Translational Eye Research
Warsaw, Poland
About
In this project we would like to explore the stimulation of S-cones (short-wavelength-sensitive photoreceptors) in the human retina using two-photon absorption, a nonlinear optical process. The aim is to investigate how visual pigments in S-cones respond to this type of excitation, which may provide new insights into retinal function and innovative approaches to visual stimulation.
