Open Source 6 dof robotic arms
CEO at ORTHOPUS
Nantes, France
About
We are developing a robotic arm, the ORTHOPUS Explorer, designed to be mounted on a wheelchair.
With six joints and a multi-fingered gripper, the arm empowers users to perform daily tasks such as pressing an elevator button, pulling a sleeve, turning on a tap, using a comb, and much more.
Its software stack — from low-level control to high-level features — is fully open source (ROS2), making it an ideal platform for academic research and innovation.
