With more than 20 data capture specialists and team leaders in our LiDAR section, BIO has extensive experience in the processing of state-wide, very large and complex airborne LiDAR datasets. We regularly create 'bare-earth' digital terrain models and client-specific landcover classes.
Together with our European partners, we are mapping from terrestrial LiDAR datasets for country-wide highway networks, classifying and differentiating point clouds into the many different man-made objects such as buildings, roads and electricity networks, street signage and their corresponding, attributed GIS object representations.
