KUZGUN Unmanned Airships

Let's talk about Airships (Zeppelins). Flying costs per hour of fixed and rotary wing type of air vehicles are around US$ 10.000 - 20.000. Flying cost per hour of Airships is around US$ 1.000. One step further : All Electrical Airships, zero emission.

THE USAGE AREAS of AIRSHIPS: ISR (border security, environment control, city security, natural disasters, pipelines security …), Swarming Attack Drones & Reusing Them, Entertainment (flying yacht or flying hotel), Stratospheric Airship project. Do we need satellites anymore?, Doomsday Airship....

PHASE 1 : Proof of concept period . This period has been completed with the test flights and the patent was granted (: "A MODULAR UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE _ TR 2011 03453 B” ). Composite design, Modular, 2 Electrical motors, Zero emission, ...

PHASE 2: Design and production periods of the products KUZGUN_5 Unmanned Airship and KUZGUN_A5 Tethered Airship (Endurance : 7 -14 days). The budget of KUZGUN_5 & KUZGUN_A5 is around US$ 3 million. We are looking for investment or direct partnership. (We have a series of Airship concepts with different dimensions. KUZGUN_5 & KUZGUN_A5 are just an example of one of our Airship projects).

PHASE 3: Design and production periods of Airships for touristic purposes (flying hotel or blue voyage in the sky).

PHASE 4: Design and production periods of Airships for swarming of UAVs.

PHASE 5: Design and production periods of Airships with higher altitudes. I mean Airships which will operate for reconnaissance _surveillance purposes in the Stratosphere. You may know that Thales (Stratobus), DARPA and Lockheed Martin have been working on stratospheric Airship applications.

It will be very hard to execute the Phases 3,4,5,6 ... in Turkey for many reasons. So we should think of setting up a new company in a developed country.

Our Offer : Our product can easily be scalable. If we can find an investor we can complete Phase 2 in 2 years. We should work with universities, R&D centers and aerospace companies very closely or under their supervision to complete Phase3, 4, 5, 6, ... We can prepare projects to get support from Horizon 2020 under your supervision. Or we'd like to learn your offer. We are open all kind of ideas.
