About

Within the scope of potential technological cooperation, TUBİTAK MAM offers the following capabilities and project proposals:

  • Detection of individuals approaching fences using electromagnetic fence technology for border security,

  • For Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), development of short-range (500–600 m) high-resolution E-band or W-band millimeter-wave radars to complement or replace S-band radars, which struggle to detect very short distances (20–30 m),

  • Development of Ka/V/E/W-band surveillance radars for detecting small-scale targets such as individuals, vehicles, and animals in border security applications,

  • Development of 94 GHz (W-band) millimeter-wave missile seeker radar heads,

  • Thin film deposition (via PEÇE, ALD, PVD techniques) for sensor and optical systems involved in project work packages,

  • Integration of AI-based image processing and target recognition features,

  • Development of LoRa-based IoT solutions for sensor packages,

  • Design and production of space-qualified solar panels for satellite systems.
