eMAS

eMAS is an onboard system designed to prevent maritime collisions (with cetaceans, boats, and floating objects). It combines pattern recognition and spectral signature analysis (using an AI processor) to provide accurate, multidimensional target identification. Detection range: 1 nautical mile during the day, less on very dark nights, depending on the heat emission and size of the obstacle. Estimates the direction of the obstacle’s movement. Simple HMI with visual and audible alerts, automated display zooming in on the identified obstacle, and video playback of the detected event.
