Desird Design R&D was established in 2008 with 100% domestic capital and operates as an R&D and manufacturing company that concentrates its activities under electronic products and mechatronic systems. The company exports 99% of its products and services. It is the fastest growing technology company that has been included in TOBB(Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey)'s 100 Fastest Growing Companies list 5 times in a row. According to research conducted by the economy and business portal Turkishtime, the company ranks among the top five firms in the electronics sector with the highest R&D expenditure in recent years.

The products designed by the company for various sectors (energy, railway, elevator, etc.) are directly exported to 66 countries and indirectly used in almost 100 countries. It exports high-tech electronic products to the U.S. shale gas sector. The door control unit developed for the railway sector is Turkey's first and only domestically produced SIL-certified product, currently used in metro lines in Istanbul and Europe. It produces in the electronics sector with a very low failure rate of 1.06 ppm.

More than 40 projects supported by TUBITAK, KOSGEB, the Ministry of Industry and the European Union have been completed, and more than half of them have been commercialized. With a highly qualified team of professionals specializing in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, and Industrial Product Design, the company is well-equipped to undertake and deliver multidisciplinary projects.

Through its investments in Japan, the Linear Motor-Driven Ropeless Multi-Cabin Elevator is among the most innovative projects that have attracted attention in the world. It has achieved to export the motors of this product, which requires less space compared to traditional elevators and enables multi-cabin and flexible designs, to Japan.
