The workshop aims to identify key challenges and co-develop actionable, place-based strategies to enhance socio-economic and environmental resilience and justice in island and coastal communities. Through a participatory co-creation process, participants will shape a roadmap for a sustainable blue economy. The workshop advances climate-neutral, resilient, and pollution-free goals by defining concrete solutions and recommending participatory governance models, including citizen science and community-led practices.
