WS15: Ocean Funding under the next MFF

Launched at the UN Ocean Conference, the EU Ocean Pact marks a significant milestone towards coherent governance in recognition “that protecting the ocean is not only an environmental issue, but also a political, economic, financial, and social imperative”. Yet delivering effective implementation requires adequate investment. As a collaborative initiative recognized under the Ocean Pact, the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership is conveying strategic actors to address the need to align ocean action and political ambition with a “blue“ Multiannual Financial Framework.
