Workshop 14 "CISE as a key tool for EU response to maritime security threats"

Format:In-personLocation:Hotel Clayton - Pegasus 1&2 HallTrack:Workshop - Pegasus 1+2 Room, Hotel Clayton
  • Maritime security and surveillance

Europe needs a stronger and more effective response to the evolving maritime threats. Joining efforts and exchanging information across all maritime sectors can lead to an unprecedented level of awareness of what is happening at sea, both above and below the surface. This is now possible thanks to the Common Information Sharing Environment – CISE, interconnecting maritime systems and multiplying the collective security and surveillance capacities of all actors with responsibility at sea. The workshop will focus on concrete examples of how CISE is used for operational exchange of information.
