BLUEBIO ALLIANCE

BLUEBIO ALLIANCE, a non-profit Portuguese association founded in 2015 that represents all players in the marine bioresources and blue biotech value chain. Their network includes raw material producers, R&D units, biotech startups and SMEs, transforming centers, manufacturers, public sector entities, support companies, and final consumer product developers. Our mission is to organize this value chain to foster relationships, leverage SME growth, and accelerate internationalization, promoting the blue bioresources sector to create jobs and generate value for Portugal. As the national voice for the sector, we interact with national and European governmental bodies to influence policy and secure funding opportunities.
