Yobana Bermúdez

Yobana Bermúdez is the general director of Conxemar, the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters and Manufacturers of Fish and Aquaculture Products. She currently holds the presidency of the MAC (Market Advisory Council) and CEP (European Federation of National Organisations of Importers and Exporters of Fish), both European bodies based in Brussels.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry, including transformation, food safety, consulting, and auditing in three different countries: Spain, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

 In addition, she worked for more than 10 years in the fish and seafood processing industry and has experience in the areas of canned and fresh, frozen, smoked, and ready-to-eat products.

 Since her appointment as general director of Conxemar, she has directed the implementation of the association's first strategic plan with a horizon of 2026 to face the challenges of the seafood transformation and marketing sector.
