I enjoy working on marine socio-ecological systems using multi/transdisciplinary approaches to identify applied solutions to real-world problems.
My organisation
We are Bord Iascaigh Mhara, the Irish Sea Fisheries Development Authority, dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of the Irish seafood sector. Our mission is to support the growth and innovation of the fisheries and aquaculture industries through research, training, and guidance. We collaborate with industry stakeholders to enhance competitiveness, ensuring that our seafood is not only sustainably sourced but also of the highest quality. Together, we aim to strengthen the economic viability of coastal communities while safeguarding marine resources for future generations.
About me
To date my work has primarily focuses on marine socio-ecological systems, with a particular focus on integrated assessments, multi/transdisciplinary approaches, and working with stakeholders to identify applied solutions to real-world problems.
