Regenerative Ocean Farming & Community-Driven Seaweed Value Chains
My organisation
About me
With a background in natural resource management, I hold a PhD in Biosystems and Food Engineering from University College Dublin as part of the Horizon 2020 MSCA ITN AgRefine project. My research explores social-ecological-technological systems interactions in the circular bioeconomy, with a particular focus on seaweed supply and value chains. I worked in the C-FAARER project, and I’m particularly interested in the connections between local communities, policy developments in restorative ocean farming, including valorisation pathways for macroalgae.
