Description:

GNSBI aims to build relations and trust, engaging stakeholders for effective governance and inclusive decision-making for the North Seas ensuring a sustainable future. The three main sectors to consider are (Wind)energy, nature preservation/restoration, and fishery/aquaculture. This workshop will have a panel with a representative of each of these industries. A moderator, closely familiar with both the GNSBI stakeholder participation (SHP) process and the Greater North Sea will lead the panel.

The workshop will start with a brief introduction of the GNSBI SHP process and what we have been working on. In the future, we want to actively communicate with stakeholders about their ideas and the issues they face.

Our moderator will ask several questions to the panellists about the issues facing their sector, their experiences with SHP, and GNSBI in particular. Afterwards, the attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions to the panel about the same topics. Together will explore ways for GNSBI to communicate and interact with stakeholders; what chances do we envision? How do we imagine GNSBI/stakeholder interaction.
