The EU4Algae workshop is designed to spotlight four pioneering EU algae-funded projects, each contributing unique research insights, business opportunities, and innovations vital to the sector's advancement. By showcasing these initiatives, the workshop aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in scaling up a regenerative, resilient, fair, and climate-friendly algae industry across Europe.

This workshop serves as a window for project leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives to showcase their contributions to the algae sector's development and explore synergies that can accelerate its scale-up. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with project teams, exchange ideas, and identify potential collaborations aimed at overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in this rapidly evolving field. The workshop will comprise a 5-minute pitching from each initiative and a panel discussion with specific questions to be addressed. The aim is to show how these different initiatives are complementary in view of how they are contributing to accelerate the scale-up of a regenerative, resilient, fair, and climate-friendly algae industry in Europe.

By harnessing the collective expertise and resources of stakeholders, the workshop aims to catalyze the transformation of the European algae industry, driving towards sustainability and innovation, while fostering resilience in the face of climate change and global challenges.
