Dutireg Nonprofit Ltd is DIH-World partner and member of EPIX project with headquarters in Szeged where the University of Szeged acts as regional centre for higher education with specialization in medical science and photonics.

DUTIREG acts as economic development organization in the city of Szeged with regional focus with strong partnership with the Regional Innovation Agency of South Great Plain region which is the Hungarian member of the European Association of Development Agencies.

In 2014. Dutireg established the STEPP Hungarian Laser Cluster, with a mission of being a dynamic, cooperating and networking organization the main purpose of the Cluster is to actively represent the interest of the Hungarian R&D&I and industrial Photonics Sector. The founding members are:

• 3 higher educational institutions,

• 11 small and medium sized enterprises,

• 1 educators, researcher.

Our members work together with the objective to enhance their international competitiveness (together and individually) as well by establishing new developments, products, services and cooperation.

DUTIREG is member of the National Association of Innovative Clusters (IKOSZ) that coordinates the cooperation of clusters in Hungary on national level. IKOSZ and DUTIREG acts in partnership with the Territorial Innovation Platform in Szeged because the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation has already acknowledged the role of clusters in S3 by cooperation with IKOSZ and the regional clusters.
