Basilicata Creativa is the cluster for the cultural and creative industries in the Basilicata region of Italy. Its core mission is to bring together creative enterprises, research organizations, public institutions, and cultural stakeholders to foster innovation, digitalization, and sustainable growth within the region’s cultural ecosystem. The cluster supports its members through technology transfer, entrepreneurial training, and the development of pilot projects and demonstrators. It also helps traditional firms to integrate creative approaches into their processes and products, with the aim of generating new cultural-creative value.

Basilicata Creativa is active in multiple European and regional projects. For example, it leads Creathriv-EU, which enhances resilience, green/digital transformation, and internationalization of cultural and creative SMEs. It is also engaged in Heritage Smart Lab, a European Digital Innovation Hub accelerating the digital transition in culture, heritage, and creative sectors, especially in southern Italy.
