The Sustainable Infrastructure Cluster is Poland's largest cluster promoting and implementing affordable energy-efficient construction technologies, recognized by the Ministry of Development as a National Key Cluster since 2016. It consists of more than 150 entities, including the largest universities in Krakow such as AGH, PK, UJ. The cluster's members also include the cities of Niepołomice, Słomniki and Piastów. The overriding goal of the cooperation is to promote the highest energy efficiency in construction, achieved through the use of proprietary construction and technological solutions, as well as the work of entrepreneurs gathered in our Cluster. In the case of the implemented solutions, the energy effect has been achieved with additional financial outlays not exceeding 7% compared to conventional buildings, with a reduction in subsequent operating costs by 85-90%. Our buildings are designed in a way that guarantees respect for domestic energy resources and enables the implementation of European Union directives, with the utmost concern for a clean environment. As part of a joint cluster project, we built a complex of zero-energy buildings in Kokotow near Krakow. The coordinator of the Cluster is the Institute of Counselling Sp. z o.o., an accredited Innovation Center at the Ministry of Development, and a nationwide training, consulting and investment center specializing in the RES industry and the promotion of energy-efficient technologies.The primary goal of the cooperation is to promote the highest energy efficiency in construction, achieved through the use of proprietary innovative structural and technological solutions developed by entrepreneurs grouped in our Cluster. The Cluster owns a training and consulting center specializing in the renawable energy sector and the promotion of energy-efficient technologies.
