Barbro Auestad National Secretary, Forbundet Styrke

Barbro Auestad is the National Secretary of Forbundet Styrke, a Norwegian trade union representing both blue- and white-collar workers in the private sector. The union organizes workers across key industries such as oil and gas, metal, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and furniture manufacturing.

With over a decade of experience as a shop steward and union representative, Barbro brings a strong background in workplace advocacy and industrial relations. Her professional experience includes working as a process operator in a primary aluminum smelter, providing her with firsthand insight into the challenges facing workers in heavy industry.

At this conference, she is representing IndustriAll Europe, with which Forbundet Styrke is affiliated.
