About me
Dr. Ahmed Aboulmagd is an Associate Professor at the Mechanical Power Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt. He is a senior instructor, researcher and consultant in the field of sustainable energy (energy efficiency, renewable energies, and environmental engineering), CFD (computational fluid dynamics), and thermofluids (fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics) and their applications (over 20 years of experience).
Dr. Aboulmagd has significant working experience spanning industry, higher education, and applied research, including project management, as he worked with a range of prestigious national and international organizations, including the EU-Funded Research, Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) programme, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and a number of Egyptian and European universities and research centers. He has also experience with supporting SMEs (small and medium enterprises), private sector development and with the industrial sector in the EU-MENA (Europe – Middle East and North Africa) region.
