About

AMASMA (Additive Manufacturing and Shape Memory Alloys) Research Group under Sivas University of Science and Technology is focused on advanced research in additive manufacturing (AM) technologies. The group explores the fabrication of shape memory alloy (SMA) components using AM techniques, optimizes material properties, and investigates their potential applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and biomedical engineering. AMASMA also works on enhancing the mechanical and functional performance of SMAs, discovering new materials and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices. Additionally, AMASMA conducts research on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) of conventional alloys like Co-Cr and AlSi10Mg for various applications. Our research aims to drive the advancement of AM technologies for the production of high-performance, customized, and resource-efficient components.
