Molkim Endüstriyel Ürünler Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi is based in Izmir, Türkiye. Our company has both manufacturing and R&D departments. Our manufacturing department is a well-established facility responsible for commercial production of industrial cleaning products, lubricants, anti-rust and anti-corrosion products as well as design and manufacturing of specialized machines and their parts.  Molkim’s R&D department consists of experts from biotechnology, microbiology, genetics, chemistry and engineering fields that foster multidimensional projects, dedicated to proposing innovative solutions for the industrial needs of the customers. Currently we are carrying out sustainability projects aiming to replace petrochemical-based products with microbial byproducts, producing including but not limited to biopolymers, enzymes to improve environmental resources, food and overall life quality. We are redesigning commercially available chemicals, polymers// materials to reach their full potential and repurpose them according to the customer’s needs. Meanwhile our engineering R&D department undertakes design and manufacturing projects on various scales from automated manufacturing stations to benchtop robotRun systems including their PLC programming to advance the robustness and effectiveness of the production lines. Since its establishment, Molkim has carried out countless projects with both national and international partners. We currently have an ongoing Horizon partnership within Cluster 6 on bioeconomy. We proposed ideas, established collaborations, adapted to the newest trends, and succeeded in our endeavors.    We are now seeking out international collaborators to be our ‘partners in crime’ on our path to innovation and sustainability.
