About

eversyn GmbH is a biotechnology company and Max Planck spin-off based in Magdeburg, Germany. We develop cell-free, enzyme-based manufacturing technologies that make high-value glycans—complex carbohydrates important in nutrition and biopharma—more accessible at both research and industrial scale.

Our platform combines engineered multi-enzyme cascades, activated/nucleotide sugars, and specialized enzymes to enable the efficient production of complex oligosaccharides and precise in-vitro glycoengineering of proteins. Key application areas include human milk oligosaccharides, glycan building blocks, and tailored glycosylation for therapeutic proteins such as antibodies, vaccines, recombinant proteins, and viral vectors.

By overcoming the cost, scalability, and flexibility limitations of conventional cell-based production, eversyn helps partners develop next-generation nutritional ingredients and biopharmaceuticals with more controllable glycan structures.
