REM Analytics SA is a biotechnology company spun out from EPFL in 2020, based at the BioArk in Monthey, Switzerland. The company develops high-resolution microbiome assays and testing services with species-to-strain level quantification across vaginal, gut and soil matrices.
The proprietary ATGC platform combines Cycling Temperature Capillary Electrophoresis with curated reference databases and specialised bioinformatics. Validated panels include a CE-IVD marked vaginal microbiome panel and a Bifidobacterium subspecies panel for gut health research.
REM offers end-to-end management of microbiome-focused clinical studies, from protocol design and ethics submission through to analysis and publication, using validated at-home collection kits and a dedicated participant app.
