The mission of INCDSB is to achieve excellence in life sciences research through the interdisciplinary integration of research activities across four key directions that define the central axis of INCDSB's RDI activities: (1) agriculture, food, nutrition, and food safety, (2) environment and biodiversity, (3) biomedicine and health, (4) circular bioeconomy, leveraging the transdisciplinary potential of supporting fields such as bioanalysis, bioinformatics, applied biotechnologies, and research in extreme environments.The vision of INCDSB is to contribute, through cooperation with regional, national, and international partners, to understanding life processes and providing sustainable solutions to address challenges related to the environment, health, depletion of natural resources, food, and other critical issues.
